about

This is the first part of The Outsider, an instrumental piece for electric guitar and symphonic orchestra inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's tale.

This part depicts the beginning of the story: the life of the main character. The continuous melodic piano lines that support the whole track, depict the loneliness and routine of the character's life. The melancholic orchestral textures, mainly involving strings, and the dark but expressive melodies of the guitar, put us right into the uneasy context of this tale's beginning.
