This is one of the tracks that were not created for Ominous Conclusions to begin with.

A few years ago I was hired by a dance company to compose the music for their next ballet and play it with another guitarist during the live performances. This track was part of that set.

The thing is their didn't come through with their project, but I didn't want to throw this track away, so I used it on Prequel instead.

What I pictured in my head while watching it was the hatching of a dinosaur egg. The beginning, gentle and smooth, pictures the baby dinosaur in the comfort and warmth of its habitat.

Then, the guitar starts playing crazy arpeggio runs: that's the moment when the baby starts trying to break free. After what we're back on the main theme when it's finally out and meeting its mother. The guitar at some point plays a high pitch bend: that's the first cry of the baby dinosaur.

In my head, this track continues to emphasize the beginning of our world, just following "Prequel", in a far less chaotic way.
